If you are a veggie in Vegas, you must make a stop at Julian Serrano to enjoy a tapas lunch or dinner. Located right in the center of the strip at the Aria, this is a perfect spot for a couple, family or friends. The first thing that will catch your attention is the vibrant, colorful interiors. The restaurant has playful, whimsical feel, that makes dining there a great experience. The restaurant also has an open dining setting where diners can look out to the famous strip as they eat. Named after the chef himself, this restaurant brings the Spanish fervor of Serrano’s childhood to Las Vegas.
The menu incorporates a separate selection of vegetarian dishes, awesome! We ordered a variety of 4 tapas between 2 people: Brava potatoes, spicy piquillo peppers, creamy risotto, and pan manchego. As someone who doesnt love peppers, I’m shocked to say that the peppers were my favorite dish. The flavors of the goat cheese with the spice overpowered the peppery taste one would expect. Also, do not miss the creamy risotto if  you are a mushroom person. It has a great blend of flavors, where none of the flavors are too over powering. The potatoes sound similar to any other dish you might have eaten. However, what makes it special is the mix of tomato sauce and garlic aioli drizzled on top of the potatoes.
I would definitely come back to try more tapas on my next trip to Las Vegas. The kale salad looked very tempting as well. And of course the desserts! Â Make sure you stop here during your trip!
