This is an International restaurant, the serve risotto, pastas, Mexican, sea food, Croatian, breakfast and more. Located just outside the center, Bistro Toc is a great place to make a detour to. They have a small raised Shamiana outside the restaurant where you can sit and enjoy your meal on a pleasant day. The Shamiana has cool funky art, warm stone walls and lots of beautiful plants.
We immediately gravitated to the Mexican options, as almost all our other meals were Italian. The waiters were super helpful, and happily catered to our needs. They serve fresh guac with chips and even the bravest of hearts can’t resist that. We ordered the vege quesedilla, taco salad and chips with salsa.
The Taco salad was nice and hearty, with a whole lot of leaves, corn, beans and other vegetables. It came with tortillas that needed some salsa on them, but tasted good all together. The Quesedilla was definitely the star of the show. Nice and wholesome, packed with vegetables and cheese and a side salad this was delicious. As with all Mexican food, I added some guac on the Quesedilla and it was amazing.
My mother does not eat eggs in cake, and so the waitress happily made us a dessert of ice cream and bourbon that was quite delicious. It was rather nice of them to do that.
