Roko – Opatija, Croatia

photo 1 (6)Pizza pizza pizza ! Located in the building where the founder of Valium, Leo Sternabch spent his childhood, Roko serves great brick oven pizzas, soups, salads, pasta and a nice warm cozy location.

They have a beautiful patio that over looks the main street in Opatija. The ‘Istriana’ with truffles paste, olive oil, rocket leaves and delicious mozzarela was a great pizza! The tomato soup was nice and comforting on a slightly chilly day and the greek salad was different – a huge slab of delicious creamy feta on a bed of tossed vegetables and lot of olive oil.

The service is nice and quick and the lasagna looked really good on another table. Well priced and large quantites, this place is worth your money. This isn’t the best pizza I have had, but when options are limited you got to eat what you get.
